So you want to know who are the Heads behind the bubbles? Well, read on, you might discover some of us are more bubble than head!!
Dive Bubbleheads is put together by the effervescent trio you see on this page. It is bonded by our long friendship of almost 20 years, and our shared Christian beliefs. This lets us work as a team, always putting others before ourselves.
Together with our team of able, enthusiastic and fun-loving Trip Staff and Dive Masters, we aim to make your dive experience fun, safe, educational, and enjoyable for you.
Andy Tan
PADI IDC Staff Instructor
No favour too large, no task too small. That about sums up our friendly lead instructor whose exceptional physical abilities range from an intricate pirouette on rollerblades (he’s also a roller blading instructor!) to pure brute strength when it comes to moving seemingly immovable objects. This former Commando has the ability to put our divers at ease so that everyone has an enjoyable trip and for those on course, earn themselves some diving credentials at the same time. He brings with him his Electrical Engineers’ ethic of no-compromise on standards and safety to the sport, which makes him an excellent instructor, dive guide and all-round sportsman.
Sam Wong
PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
Cool Dude. Unflappable under any circumstances, with a deadly sense of humor. His valium-like quality makes training dives a low-stress situation for our trainees. But there’s no sleeping on the job for this Instructor who is ever alert to avoid potentially dangerous situations. He typically takes on the role of all-round safety officer, ensuring all divers are accounted for, in and out of water. Being an IT Operations Manager dealing with temperamental computer systems probably helps when handling a bunch of exuberant and enthusiastic divers. His easy-going nature combined with a keen ‘can-do’ attitude makes for enjoyable, fun trips, laced with a touch of the unexpected!
Lee Kwang Ming
PADI Assistant Instructor
Mr. Nitrous Oxide himself. Formalities aside, we call him Ming. His infectious laughter will drive you to delirium if you let him, but this never detracts from the level-headed dive planning and safety consciousness of our Chief Balloon Catcher (ask us why!). His friendly nature guarantees an enjoyable course or trip, and his keen eye and sure hand keeps our divers within safety limits. This widely read Mass Communications specialist will certainly liven up any trip, and will gladly keep up a spirited discourse on almost any subject matter. With Ming on the trip, you will certainly take back more than a few fond memories of your underwater adventures with us.
